I really enjoyed this place last summer. Anytime family or friends came to town I would insist I take them to Sextant. Always really good food and decent service, needless to say I thought I found a diamond in the rough. I liked trying everything on the menu and most was great, I'd had their clam strips before and they were great. The last 2 times I was there the service was bad and my fish was under cooked and my clams FULL of sand
Great bar on the Columbia River! Great servers, good variety of the menu. Huge patio affords the freshness of the river and views of the boats and as well airplanes taking of from PDX on 26L....at lunchtime, almost a guarantee to see the F-15's going out on full afterburner for trainings. Sextant is a Portland staple. Enjoy a relaxing pub/bar when you visit!

Nice grill & bar. Waitstaff was very accommodating. Had halibut & chips-excellent. Prawn appetizer was delicious. Great drinks. Has patio seating that looks out at the Columbia River. Summer scene is beautiful. Easily seen off Columbia blvd.
