Buyers beware and check your carfax! I was gonna go buy a Hyundai, which looked like a good deal, in fact to good to be true kind of deal. The miles were oddly low so I asked to see a carfax and the car fax shows the car had 132k miles in December of 18' and 37k as of Jan 19' ...how is that possible? They are running an add that show only 37k miles.. i asked what was correct and they told me it was 132k and apologized because I almost drove out to test drive. Checked again today and it still says 37k so something seems shady about this.
I would say my experience with Japanese Auto was pleasant. I feel I received a good deal on the car I wanted. The financing and paperwork process was fairly painless compared to other auto purchases I have gone through. Only thing I can complain about is that the car was pretty filthy on the inside. I test drove it after dark so it was hard to tell, but its pretty nasty. Thats not a great feeling to buy a new to you car and have it be so dirty. I havent contacted them yet to see if they are willing to make it right for me, but I will before I have to drive across town and pick up my plates. I will update my review at that time, but for now I do recommend them as a dealer.
