Ok great customer service they have that going for them.But..I told them I just moved to Oregon from Washington with a month on the job and they said no problem.Well a day later I get a phone call saying the banks want 6 months of employment and was not to happy as you guys work with people every day so next time someone comes in with less than 6 months of time on the job please tell them.I have 3 hard checks on my credit report and wasted about 5 hours of my day driving out there and back home.I learned my lesson and fighting to get the hard checks off my credit report.
Back in May I wanted to buy a car for my mom for peace of mind that she could get around safely. I went to Barron's because they had such good ratings. We found a basic car which drove very nicely and they eagerly had us buy it off the lot that day. Something that should have just stopped me altogether was my bank didn't even want to give me a loan because they said the car was way over priced by about $2k. The company finagled any 'reduction in price' out of me with the loan they facilitated with a partnered lender by tacking on DMV fees. All of which I wouldn't have minded if my moms car didn't break down the VERY next day. I had to call them multiple times for them to come get the car and help us. Finally they did, and made some quick fix but for 2 months the car barely ran and my mom had to put new oil in it once a week. The cost to fix this problem was $1300. We thought wed get by but then about 4 weeks ago the car fully broke down. The transmission is wrecked and will cost about $2400. So now my moms car sits broken down on her lawn with a total of $3700 in repairs to do and I have $4500 left to pay on the loan. The car isnt even worth the cost of the repairs!! Its one of the biggest mistakes Ive ever made in my life and Barrons Auto will not return our calls or emails. DO NOT GO HERE. They sold us the worst possible car. At the very least dont EVER EVER buy a used car without a proper inspection by a third party. These are not good people, and Im so confused how they have all the ratings they do.
Bought two cars from here. Nice people and great customer service. Definitely recommend this place. After getting treated like trash every where I went I ended up buying a car from here and I am so happy to not have to pay 30% anymore. Now I'm at a credit union after everywhere else told me I didn't qualify.
Nice people. They help me find the right car. I only like Toyota and Honda and they never try to sell me something else. I like this dealer and my new car. I recommend my family.
