1/9/19 update: Another $1400 in repairs after I took the car back from the dealer after finally running out of patience. Among the list of terrible maintenance was the mentioned shift cable not being replaced but glued on cheaply. This couldve failed on the highway with my kids in the car. Not so much as an apology from this dealer. Id sue on principle alone if I had the resources. You cant trust the business practices here. Good luck to you.I had purchased a 2003 Mini Cooper from Ian at Braidia TNT Auto Group. At the time of purchase, I was told there was a new clutch on the car. I figured on my own that I would have other issues to look for and possibly repair but I was assured by Ian and Maui (a former employee who will back up my claim) that the clutch on the car was brand new. This turned out to be false and the car failed in traffic on me before too long. Not only was the clutch worn down and bad, but the shift cable was also. Upon calling and complaining to Ian about the issue, Ian admitted he lied about the clutch and accepted the responsibility of repairing it. The Cooper was then towed to the Braidia Auto Sales lot where it sat for now months with no repair. My calls were ignored, my messages were not returned, and in that time my sub woofer and amp was stolen out of my car. No sign of forced entry. When I finally had to show up at the dealer, the only reason I got attention and any movement was due to other potential customers being present and they would have heard my story. Ian was not surprised that my property was gone which leaves me to believe he knows and is possibly complicit in the theft. I will be filing a police report as well. I hoped they would make this right or return the property but that's not happening.I have since had to buy my own new clutch to hopefully move the repair along but that still has not happened. Once again my calls, messages, and expectations as a customer has gone unaddressed. I am a single father and work full time with a lot of pressure on me so this is a tough fight to get into. I can just no longer go without getting some justice done here or at least deter others from having the same problems I have with this company. Hard working people should not have to fall prey to dishonest and greedy business practices such as this. My children depend on me being able to provide for them.Thank you for hearing me out.
Customer service was good; they met me on the day they were closed and had paperwork ready ahead of time.However, they either do ZERO inspection of their vehicles, or Stevie Wonder is their mechanic.I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler and recognized that the tires had fair wear, but figured I was going to put big fat ones one when I lifted it. I also noticed the e-brake didnt work, but could deal. However, I did not know that the clutch was worn down as bad as it was and that Id be putting in a whole new clutch kit a month later. I also did not know that the spark plugs in it were not to spec (too small and caused terrible gas mileage) both axle seals were done in the rear, the front driver brake was leaking, all four brakes had about 20% surface left on calipers and to boot, the roof leaked (far more than whats expected out of a common Wrangler).
Ian and his staff are absolutely AMAZING ! Thank you for going above and beyond! I have 3 friends in the market for vehicles and I'm bringing them in! Family owned! Support this local business !
Super friendly staff. Above par. Didn't get into a car from them, but that was my fault. The best car sales experience I ever had, and once again... I didn't get into a car. Thanks a million. Definitely recommending these guys
