I love this bookstore! Tons of used books, and so many used magazines! It is my favorite place to get magazines for collaging. The owner is friendly, but not pushy at all, which I appreciate.
I found this golden place when I was in search of food by the nearby food trucks, and the books outside of the store with an inexpensive label nearby immediately caught my attention. I knew this was a place I could spend hours browsing; unfortunately I was with my guy and he wanted to eat and skadoodle, so i only got to spend about 15 minutes browsing in and out of the store. When I actually got into the store, I was overwhelmed by the amazing amount of books. Although it's not that spacious, its packed with all kinds of books/magazines/comic books! I spent $1.70 for 5 books (that were outside, 35 cents!). I also got a good piece of history, an old postcard dated back to 1936. Its a very interesting store! Absolutely love it.
Very inexpensive, large book collection. In my view what a used book store should be like, just wall to wall books without the corporate / touristy feel.
It's a used bookstore with a pretty nice collection. They had quite a few magazines although I wasn't able to find the ones I was looking for. I'd definitely check them out if you are in the area and like books.
I love wondering around this store. It's terrible he had to cover all his windows and nothing was done about the people camping around his shop though. The new gate is gorgeous despite the fact he really shouldn't need to protect his store in such a manner, but he does. I love the vintage books and the foreign language books. Never know what treasures you'll find here!
