This might be my favorite store, ever. I've been coming here since I first moved to Portland a decade ago. Simply being here is calming... The place is my sanctuary. I come here when I need to find my center, and I always find the right book. Lots of other beautiful items to entice as well. :) It's really hard to not spend money here every time I walk in!
Very kind . great customer service. Great atmosphere. Huge selection of books, candles, Tarot, Oracle, jewelry, cards, bags ECT. Love love love this store!
Having recently moved back to Portland from San Francisco, I knew there would be significantly less pagan stores with stones and gems. I found two or three places on Google Maps and this one had the best reviews so I went to check it out. The photos don't do the store justice! Upon entering it is a bit overwhelming, how do they fit so much awesomeness and pure magical space, physically and pscyhicly, into a space that looks rather small outside? I would call this store the Powell's of pagan stores. Every have everything and a huge selection at great prices. Plus the staff were so so kind and welcoming. I can't wait to return, I will surely be.spending all my paychecks here. Eek! But can't put a price on love and light, and there's no shortage here.
A fun little book store that, along with a large variety of books, also sells many fun niche toys and decor. The store layout is a bit abnormal, but has a good flow to it so it is fairly easy to follow. They did a great job at accessibility considering the location and age of the buildings (they have ramps and were very good about marking them and verbally communicating the locations to people). I would warn that the shelves and stands are a bit close together due to the confines of the location, so navigating with a chair may be difficult.
New Age bookstore with all of the required accoutrements. There are some pretty things here. I came for incense, and found a nice selection of quality products. I'm drawn to crystals, and they have some nice pieces. They also sell chocolate! Good chocolate!This is a tough store to navigate for those who don't walk easily, or have other mobility issues. Also, not very easy to find things, but staff is kind and patient. Parking is tough in NW Industrial area. All in all, a good vibe, and good place to browse. Wish I could do 3.5 stars, as that's more accurate.
