Witnessed a store employee being very rude and inconsiderate to someone who just appeared to need a little help!! We dont need these kind of angry people in our city! Shame on Western bikes for terrible customer service!!!
Excellent local bike shop with online pricing.Seth and his crew at Western BikeWorks do all the work on the 3 bikes I have bought from them over the past few years. They have also built me 8 excellent wheels. I ride a lot and demand a great deal from my bikes- on road and off-road. Western Bike Works keeps me riding and does so with great advice and service.
**** UPDATE **** The manager has reached out to me and concerned their sincerely apologizes in the loss of my bike and the mistake they have made on not tracking the serial number upon selling this bike. They have made some arrangements that I have not gone through with but it has been 2 months now and I am still lost without that bike. I thank Western Bike Works for reaching out to me about it. But it still wont bring back that bike I loved so much. I have now bumped up my star review to 4 stars on this now. Thank you Western Bike Works for putting in Effort on this. On Feb 19th 2017 I purchased a Sea Foam Green State Bicycle Black Label from Western Bike Works. The transaction itself was perfect. That was until about a week ago someone broke into my garage and stole a bunch of items from me. That being said, Western Bike Works did not complete their end of the transaction properly and record the serial number on the sale like they mention they try and do every transaction. Well not I no longer have a bike and no detail number on file to give to the police.. I HIGHLY recommend you do not do any business with them. Go to someone trust worthy. If something happens all they will tell you is Im sorry we didnt record this serial number or whatever 1,000,000 other excuses they can come up with. Not even a Im sorry this happened to you and we made a huge error. I will say I made a huge mistake by not tracking the serial number myself. That was entirely my bad. But that still doesnt change the fact that they TRY to record every serial number that goes through their shop. They WILL record every serial number is what it should be. Once again I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to take their business somewhere else in Portland. Or if you dare, Good Luck.
Aaron was so great to work with. Since they dont do commission and they didnt have a bike that would work for my wifes needs he suggested another place. Thats the kind of wonderful service thats missing these days. He really helped us understand the best way to find the ideal bike. Will return there again for sure in the future.
I purchased several items from Western Bike Works online. I had an issue with a set of tires fraying with minimal miles on them. I spoke with Sam and Casey through and they were wonderful! They sent me a replacement set without hesitation and took the time to try and solve my issue. I cannot say enough positive comments about my experience dealing with them!
