I had a terrible experience at this shop. The owner was rude and egotistical...he knew better than the previous mechanics who did excellent work on my bike. ...what an a-hole. If you have a really nice bike take it somewhere anywhere else.....where the people will give you an honest discussion not all their hipster BS. I agree with the other poster, they are arrogant...and I had a steel high-end bicycle.
Stopped in for some insight on becoming a bike commuter. Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all my questions and provided a thorough explanation of all the different cycling considerations. I look forward to doing business with them in the future. Highly recommended.
What a rude and aggressive mediocre mechanic. Had the worst bike shop experience in my life at this place, made fun of for riding a aluminum touring bike, how I adjusted my brakes. After spending a lot of money here my fender broke, brought it in thought hed warranty it instead charged me $50 to repair. It brakes again and I get screamed at, threatened and kicked out after being told I was terrible. No one should be treated as I was, no one! Stoic Wheels is still awesome.
