Just had a shower kit for a clawfoot installed at 3 times what I was quoted. The invoice shows nothing other than a total, absolutely no itemizing. Pay attention to the reviews is all I have to say, there is a pattern of this and a reason why they only rate 3.5. Quality was sub par at best and first time using the shower, there was a deafening sound coming from the pipes. They wanted to charge me to come back and fix this but my question is, did they not turn it on to see there was an issue or did they just install it and pack up their tools?! Will NEVER use them again!

The plumber was very pleasant, clean, efficient. If I'd had the time to obtain bids for the work I needed between a few businesses, I might have paid less, but sometimes you "get what you pay for" and cheaper is not better in the long run. Overall, I'm happy with the services today.
I asked them to hookup (hand screw on washing machine) 1 hot and 1 cool water hose. They charged me $119 to come out and $141 for 3 minutes of work. These guy are pathetic at best, when you overcharge for 3 minutes of service. The positive reviews on here are probably from family friends and not real customers.
Plumber arrived right on time at 8 AM. I thought that was a good sign. The job was pretty involved. It required the plumber to be here for nearly six hours. He worked the entire time and only took one break of about 20 minutes. He was not a smoker, so he wasn't running outside every half hour and he never talked on his phone except to check with his office about issues involving the job he was doing for me.He was very pleasant and courteous. There were a few different times that I asked questions pertaining to the job he was doing. His answers were easily understandable and in language that was not industry jargon, but every day terms that anyone would understand. I never felt like he was looking down at me for my lack of knowledge, either. When I apologized for asking him too many questions, he said that was not necessary and he wished everyone was as interested in understanding what he was doing.I would not hesitate to use D and F Plumbing again. It was an excellent experience because of the professional on the job.
