I called later on a Saturday evening and wanted to make a reservation for 8. Even though this was a busy Saturday, they were able to accommodate us with some table jiggling. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Great service from all the staff especially considering how busy it was. It summer it's a lovely spot to dine outside, so will have to come back
Came in tonight as we live locally. It's so cold, brightly lit and clinical since the refurbishment. No food being served and last orders called at 7pm.very disappointed .What have you done to our lovely old pub.

Very lovely pub right on the sea front. Small and intimate, friendly and a great place to relax and get warm after a begging still asking the beach. I didn't eat but the food looked great. Toilets in the cellar. Look for the photos or ask about the wave.
A nice seaside pub, a lot better than most. Bags of character, popular with a wide variety of people from the artsy set through the sea anglers to islander locals. Food looks good with generous portions, plenty of seating outdoors and the sea wall give some shelter from the wind. Great views across Lyme Bay. Well staffed even when busy so waiting times are good. The staff were all polite. A steep slope up to the entrance though dropping off is possible the age of the building means there's no wheelchair access and the entrance isn't level.
