Case in point, I recently dropped some equipment for consignment when later that week I received a call from Kurt who suggested an alternate method to move my equipment and net more out of the deal. He even offered to have his team box it up and ship it under their discount. That was the Friday going into MLK weekend so promptly Tuesday morning a Paypal invoice for shipping charges arrives along with the tracking number for the gear. Seriously, thats service. If you are looking for high-end gear from a trustworthy team Echo Audio is where to shop.
Far more trustworthy than their competition in Hawthorne and also down to earth given they sell high end equipment. Guessing they arent on commission. Anyway have bought and traded from them and its always a good experience. Support vintage equipment! Its sustainable.
All staff were super helpful and patient. They gave me a phenomenal deal on some sennheiser headphones (they price matched). Highly recommend stopping by, even if youre just browsing.
Top shelf selection, limited and exclusionary offerings for entry level consumers. Anything under 200 is most definitely going to be limited to one or two models in any category. Considering the people on the street right now, and just Portland as a whole, this place feels disconnected, but if you're the target market I guess this is your corner audio store. This is a three star review. It gets 4 for the knowledgeable and somewhat friendly staff.
The ONLY place in Portland that I will buy (and occasionally sell) high end audio equipment. I have got incredible deals over the years from Kurt, Matt, and all the guys. What their selection and prices has afforded me is superior quality gear and years of enjoyment. A fun place to stop by and just enjoy the music!
