I hired Young Electric to install my home charging device for my Electric Vehicle. They were hands down the best price in Portland. Moreover, they were extremely professional, arrived for the job 5 min earlier, and left everything clean and professionally installed. I will use them again for any of my energy needs. I cannot day enough how satisfied I am with their service. Thank you very much!!
So, we called this company to set up a visit. They asked what we needed, got our info and then continued correspondence over texts. We sent them photos of the units we needed servicing and all the details of the job to set up an estimate. She said they would get back to us within a few days. Two weeks go by and they wouldn't respond to any texts. Suddenly, they tell that they don't service our area. Unprofessional to say the least. We lost two weeks that we could have been searching for an electrician. Called another electrician and we won't be seeing them for over three weeks... Would have been nice to get that process started two weeks ago...
We were initially really disappointed in Young Electric. They quoted us a large amount....the electricians were here for half the time predicted and we still were charged a huge amount. In addition, they did not finish the job and didn't bother to tell us that we would have to hire other folks to finish the work. While their disclaimers protected them from this discrepancy, we think their workers should have said: Yes, we have made the upgrades to your fans, but you can't use them because we are not venting them....we are not trained to do that work. I talked to the company about this and they acknowledged that their workers had not let us know that the work was not complete. To make things right, they provided the support to get the fans set up correctly at no additional cost. Their workers were all professional, did a good job, though were not great communicators and I believe the company will work on this, and were quick, I would now recommend them.
Our electrician Darin did an exceptional job, was courteous, punctual and respectful of our home. He answered all of my random questions regarding the electrical issues in my older home, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Young Electric!
Darren, our assigned electrician, was just great and very friendly! Not only was he very professional and explained exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it, he was also courteous and and worked quickly to get an outside plug installed that we could control from a switch inside the building. He kept the work area, which is a main entry for patients, clean and clear which was greatly appreciated. Also, he spoke very highly of working for Young Electric and I could tell he has a lot of pride in his company. As a small business ourselves, that goes a long way and gives one a feeling of trust in Young Electric. We are very pleased with the work and the fair price. We will absolutely keep Young Electric on file as our electricians and really look forward to doing business with them in the future.
