Dot's Cafe sounds like a quaint little diner that you might find mom and pop style comfort food. You would be wrong. The decor is dark, counter culture, and eclectic with dark alternative music interspersed riot girl style. The food was delicious and the ambience right up my alley. If you're into ironically named dark joints with great food, great beer, and great happy hour prices, Dot's is for you.
A friend turned us onto this place during the summer. A major draw is that Dots has air conditioning. With rotating slushy drink specials, a wide selection of $2-3 water beers, and great nachos, Dots has earned a place in our hearts, and evenings. Friendly staff, good service and lots of seating.
Fantastic food and even better service! I was (full disclosure) hung over AF and my server knew it.... she was patient and kind and brought me everything I asked for. When my friend showed up in a hurry she was understanding of us needing the check not only separated but immediately delivered so we could make a movie premiere. I wish I had remembered her name because she truly was amazing!
This place is awesome. The staff are always friendly and inviting. The food is always awesome. And the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. This is a good spot to go and sit down by yourself or a good place to bring friends or family to have a nice bite to eat. I will definitely be going back here and I would recommend you try it out too.
