Clothes are optional here it's a very freeing it's a safe place to get some steam therapy. It's a peaceful place and you can get really good massages here.

Been here twice in the past two months; this is a beautiful place to soak soak/sauna/steam. It is co-ed and clothing optional (read: 90% if the people are naked) and it can take some getting used to showering naked next to another stranger. (There are no separate stalls for showering or changing your clothes). I highly recommend bringing your own towels, as they have ones for rental, but they are small and you really need two, one for sitting on & covering up as you walk between the two facilities, and another to dry off with once you are done. They have a cute tea house with kombucha on tap and snacks. They don't take reservations, so you may have to wait on a busy night for an opening. Also, you can soak for free on your birthday

My partner came here for his free 1 hour soak on his birthday. I joined and paid for my session ($22). The saunas were really hot and relaxing. The outdoor hot tub was really cool, and I loved the ambiance. Lots of male guests here on their own. The lockers have built-in locks/keypads, so no need to bring your own lock. The locker area was really narrow and small. There were also a basket of flip flops to wear, if you wanted. The place smelled a bit like stinky feet at times. There was a cat who had a ton of matted fur on its belly; it was really sad to see the cat not getting groomed properly.

The Everett House Community Healing Center is a vital part of my personal wellness, and I believe an equally important part of the community's wellness as individuals who have access to this place leave with an energy and mindfulness that carries over to other interactions outside of the center. From the massage services that helped me in processing pain from an emergency cesarean from my second daughter's birth in 2015, to the chiropractic care I accessed to recover from an accident during the snowstorm of 2016, to the sauna where I can connect with a practice that is fundamental to me culturally, to the spa tub where I can soak my sore muscles in warmth and calmness not available at home where I am on non-stop as a mom...Everett House has been a place I can count on for healing! As a plus(ish)-sized native woman, I consider the Everett House to be actively inclusive and body-positive. The facilities are clean and well-managed, and the vibe is homey! I have witnessed personally the peacefulness that this setting and its services afford to people in an otherwise frantic and stressful world. Not only does Everett House offer a wide range of supports to help keep Portland residents healthy, it also serves as a feature that distinguishes Portland to visitors as a place that is progressive and accepting! The professionals who work here are great service providers who work hard to create a sense of balance and safety. As a survivor of trauma, Everett House is very rare in its ability to provide a space that is offering different services in an environment that feels orderly and safe. I need the Everett House in my life, because it helps maintain my inner harmony, and I know I'm not the only one!

This place has such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. It was super busy when I went, but they only allow so many people in at a time so it never felt overly crowded. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. I definitely want to go back.
