One of my 2 favorite date night places in Portland. Why? Simple, European style dishes that are high in quality. Excellent wine selections. Delicious cakes. Great staff that know how to balance being friendly while giving you space. Comforting interior. The one lady sever with the glasses is always great. I cannot speak enough praise for this place. Grab a drink at sister cocktail bar Angel Face beforehand then enjoy the bread, steak, clams, gratin, mushrooms (oh, the mushrooms) and have a great night while you eat, drink and be merry.

Wow! Great tasting food. This restaurant focuses on small plates that can be shared by everyone. The menu hah several fixed items, but the majority of the menu changes depending on what's in season and fresh. This ensures that your food is prepared with fresh delicious ingredients, and it really shows through in the taste. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. How you order is a little different than a normal restaurant, but the staff is friendly and will help you out with any questions. Large selection of wine.
