I have been lucky enough to have been with this practice when it was originally in Holland Park Avenue. The service here is outstanding. All the doctors are excellent. Kind, patient and informative. You never feel rushed. I have a few complex health issues but have nothing but excellent care from this practice. They always liase well with the appropriate specialist hospital teams The reception staff know many of the patients by name and are very patient and kind with elderly patients. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and they offer an urgent access appointment or call back service everyday. The hours are great with 1/2 evenings the surgery being open later. I feel so lucky to be a patient here. I cant recommend them highly enough.
This practice is very friendly, efficient and helpfull, have never experienced of not getting an appointment when needed. Dr Topham Dr watson and others are very caring in every way. Would recommend this practice highly
A few years ago I was referred to have a colonoscopy, which I went along with, basically because I thought Dr Topham was "on my side". Then I learned that NHS practises refer people to these in order to reach cancer screening targets. Finally I understood. Why was a sent for a painful, potentially harmful procedure where my body was invaded by a 3 foot long tube? Bonuses for practises. This is basically how they keep the doors open. This is why he is now head of the practise. Whoever makes the most money for an organisation, gets promoted. The NHS has been corrupted. This practise is not the worst, but they hate giving prescriptions (you would think it was their own money; I have heard that doctors in poorer areas might have more allowance to give prescriptions). Also, there is information on the internet that suggests a colonoscope is impossible to sterilize. For info on cancer, look up some talks from Dr. John McDougall on youtube.
I have been with this Gp fr 10yrs, and they have been amayzing! reception stafs and healthcare practioners they all pilte,kind and profationls!
A fantastic Practice. Very efficient and friendly staff, wonderful doctors, I feel in safe hands here and would highly recommend this Practice.
