Ted, your worried about straws? How about focusing on the homeless issue? I see more needles in the gutter than straws! Montavilla is not the only area plagued by the issues that accompany the homeless. The theft, drug use, drug dealers, bio hazards, vandalism, harassment, property damage and mountains of trash left everywhere are a much larger concern for my neighbors, local business owners and myself than a plastic straw. Priorities need to be checked. You are failing to protect the people and their property that provide you with your tax funding.

I think ted wheeler had better start enforcing the laws. When I see a mob attack a 74 year old man while police just watch it makes my stomach turn, I use to love portland but now I do not want to go there anymore. How sad.
I have loved Portland and considered it a place of art, music, and individuality. I embraced the "keep portland weird" mentality and thought it was a great city. I have not lived in Oregon for years because of military service, and I did not bother to vote. After seeing Antifa take over the street and our brave police force be forced to stand down, I will now stand up and out those who are turning my home into haven for Facist activists.
