Do not treat their employees with proper respect. Their competitors do a much better job.
I would STRONGLY advise against doing any business with this company. My work has been in a contract with them for years. Over the last while their linens have gotten increasingly dirty and dingy. When we receive clean linens weekly, they are consistently full of a lot of hair, some are tattered and stained. I have tried to work on the problem with them, but to no avail, they tell me they are within industry standards , I am in the medical field, I cannot have hair in my linensTheir contracts are iron clad and impossible to get out of. I have been sending pictures and returning unusable linens to them for over 5 months now trying to correct the issue or get out of the contract. They will not let us goRun for the hills before doing business with this company!!
Beware!I have never written a negative review but feel a responsibility to warn other surgery centers and health care facilities about our experience with New System Laundry. The following is based upon both my experience but more importantly upon 2 RN Operating room managers and our Quality Assurance Surgery Center ConsultantThe main problems were:1 Multiple Laundry items returned with hair on them2 Multiple items with foreign bodies including tape attached 3 Items with tire marks on them4 Items with objectional odors smelling like dirty water5 Multiple items returned with tears in them6 Multiple items folded poorly making them appear wrinkled7 Frequent blankets delivered that were threadbare8 Items with grease stains on them9 Lack of adequate number of available items10 Failure to reduce excessive unnecessary inventory resulting in a much higher bill than necessaryAll three of our nurses currently work at multiple Operating rooms in the Portland and Vancouver WA area and attest to the the much higher quality of the laundry service provided by other companiesTo their credit our delivery person is friendly, and returns calls.Unfortunately despite multiple emails and conversations by numerous employees the above problems continued forcing us to change vendors.My advise for anyone considering this company is to talk with multiple Operating room and healthcare facilities regarding their experience.Michael Workman MDBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Hidden fees, poor tracking practices that result in bad billing practices, and long term (5 year) automatically renewed contracts unless you cancel in the 90 days window you have each 5 years to do so should let you know all you need to about this business. Do your business a favor, learn from our mistake and stay far away from them.
